UPDATE, APRIL 10, 2022
- There are currently no restrictions on personal gatherings & organized gatherings and events.
- Showing the BC Vaccine Card proof of vaccination to access events, services and businesses is no longer required.
- Ever After Character Company can provide proof of vaccination of our performer upon request.
- Wearing masks in public indoor settings is not required by public health. Wearing a mask is a personal choice.
- Individual businesses and event organizers can choose to continue requiring masks on their premises. It’s important that we respect the choices of people, businesses and one another.
- Customers can request that their performer wear a mask to their event.
- Part of our Communicable Disease plan includes a Health Check-In Form that both our customers and performers are required to fill in 24 hours before a private event.
- Answers on the form will help us determine if it is safe to go on with the event, or if we need to reschedule. We are not charging rescheduling fees at this time.
- In order to keep our customers and performers safe, Ever After Character Company will be limiting close contact at all events.
- This means it is OK for children to hug our performers, be we will limit prolonged face to face time.
- We will do our best to find a performer for your requested time that has indicated they are comfortable with limited close contact.
- If the only performer who is available for your event is not comfortable with limited close contact, we will touch base with you to see how you would like to proceed.
- This means it is OK for children to hug our performers, be we will limit prolonged face to face time.
- Customers can request that physical distance be maintained during their event.
ONGOING HEALTH POLICIES
PERFORMER SAFETY POLICY
- If at any point, BC Health or the PHO enacts mandates or restrictions on public spaces, private gatherings, or public events, we will adapt our Health & Safety plan to reflect said restrictions.
- The current rules we have laid down are in accordance with recommendations from health authorities. They have been put in place to keep both our customers and our performers safe.
- In the event that a performer feels sick in any way, they will be replaced by one who is feeling well AND who is not in that performer’s household or close social bubble. We will do our best to replace the performer, but because of restrictions we may have to postpone if this situation occurs and we are unable to find a replacement.
- In the event that the customers or anyone in the social bubble or household of the customer that we are going to do an appearance with is feeling sick, we must be informed. We will reschedule if this is the case.
- If current BC Health Mandates and/or PHO rules are not being followed at an event, Ever After Character Company reserves the right for our performer(s) to leave any event in order preserve performer and customer safety.
PERFORMER SAFETY POLICY
- Abuse of any kind towards Ever After Character Company’s performers will not be tolerated. Ever After Character Company reserves the right of our performer(s) to leave any event in order preserve their safety.
