PARADES - SAFETY RULES Consent form

    phase 2 & 3 performer STATUS

As of May 18th, we will only be admitting the two owners of the company and their spouses into the house that has all the princess costumes, wigs, and supplies in it (or the business location) during Phase 2. Previous to May 18th, only the owner of the company who resides at the business location and her spouse have had access to the business location. The two owners of the company have been isolating since March 17th, maintaining physical distance when going out for essentials, and going out only as needed. The owner who has not been residing at the business location’s spouse has also been isolating since March 17th. The owner who resides at the business location’s spouse has been going to work, and out for essential items (groceries, ect) since March 17th. He has been able to maintain physical distance from co-workers while he is at work.
During Phase 2, only the two owners will be performing at parade bookings. They will either be chauffeured by each other, or by one of their spouses. This will keep our initial group of people going out for parades down to the 4 people who are in a limited social bubble with one another. The owner’s and their spouses will not be increasing their bubble more than between the 4 of them during Phase 2.
During Phase 3, we will open up performing opportunities to more of our performers. Performers will be chauffeured by one of the owners of the company. Only performers who are keeping their social bubbles small during Phase 3 will be performing at parades.

    Vehicle safety

The vehicle that we use for parades will have signage on the sides to remind customers to maintain social distance.
If we are doing more than one parade in a day, we will spray the vehicle exterior with hypochlorous acid between visits. We will only be conducting visits to Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Rosedale on Saturdays during Phase 2. Travel areas are opened up to Langley and Agassiz during Phase 3.

The vehicle will not exceed 5 km per hour when in front of the parade location. The vehicle will be turned off during the visit.

    Physical Distance

In accordance with social distancing measures, your character will not exit the vehicle

    vehicle choice

If the weather permits, we will conduct the visit in a convertible car with the top down. In the event of rain, the visit will be conducted in a mid-sized truck with a rain shelter on the back. The character will ride in the back of the truck so that she can easily be seen and heard.

    Possible Phase Rollback

If at any point, authorities roll back to a previous phase in the back to work plan, we will also roll back our services to the ones described for each phase.

    Health Safety

In the event that a performer feels sick in any way, they will be replaced by one who is feeling well AND who is not in that performer’s household or close social bubble. We will do our best to replace the performer, but because of restrictions we may have to postpone if this situation occurs and we are unable to find a replacement.
In the event that the customer or anyone in the social bubble or household of the customer that we are going to do an appearance with is feeling sick, we must be informed. We will reschedule if this is the case.

    Performer Safety

The rules we have laid down are in accordance with recommendations from health authorities. They have been put in place to keep both our customers and our performers safe.
